ROLE SUMMARY

Parnami Logistics is seeking an experienced and hands-on Traffic Manager to lead PAN India transportation and fleet operations. This role goes beyond day-to-day dispatch you will own vehicle placement and deployment across owned, attached, and market fleets, build a strong transporter network, and drive fleet utilization, cost control, and on-

time delivery across a mixed commercial fleet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage PAN India transportation & fleet operations across own, attached, and market vehicles.

Plan and arrange vehicle placement & deployment as per load, volume, route and customer requirement.

¢ Handle placement and deployment of different types of vehicles.

¢ Monitor vehicle availability and ensure timely reporting.

¢ Maximize vehicle utilization and fleet productivity.

¢ Coordinate with transporters, fleet owners, drivers, and internal operations teams.

¢ Build and maintain a strong market transporter/vendor network; negotiate transportation rates.

¢ Plan vehicle allocation and route deployment; monitor vehicle movement from placement to delivery.

¢ Monitor transportation cost and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

¢ Maintain daily vehicle placement and transportation MIS.

¢ Monitor transporter performance and resolve operational issues.

¢ Coordinate with warehouses, customers, and dispatch teams to ensure timely placement, loading, dispatch and delivery.

¢ Handle transportation escalations and implement transportation SOPs with operational discipline.

VEHICLE CATEGORIES

¢ Single-Axle Trucks, 10 / 12 / 14-Wheelers.

¢ Closed Body & Open Body Vehicles.





¢ LCV / MCV Tata 407 and similar vehicles; Tata Ace / Small to 32 fleet.

¢ Reefer / Temperature-Controlled Vehicles and other specialized vehicles as required.

Note: Experience with every category above is not mandatory strong experience managing multiple vehicle types and mixed fleets is preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

¢ Minimum 5+ years of experience in Transportation / Fleet / Traffic Management, with PAN India exposure preferred.

¢ Hands-on experience managing own fleet plus attached/market fleet.

¢ Strong experience in vehicle placement, deployment, and transporter/vendor management.

¢ Good understanding of vehicle utilization, fleet productivity, and route planning.

¢ Ability to handle high-volume transportation requirements with strong operational coordination.

¢ Good working knowledge of MS Excel and transportation MIS.

¢ Preferred background: 3PL, FMCG logistics, distribution, supply chain, or large regional transport companies.

¢ Stable employment history preferred.

¢ Frequent job changer will not consider.
