nTraining is a core part of our model.

nWe want every caregiver joining a Maasi family to understand child safety, hygiene, age-appropriate care, communication and professional conduct.

nAbout the Role

nWe are looking for a Nanny Trainer who will own the training and readiness of caregivers joining Maasi.

nYou will conduct training sessions, assess caregivers, identify gaps and ensure that caregivers meet Maasi's standards before they are deployed with families.

nThe role involves both classroom training and hands-on assessment.

nYou will work closely with the Operations team to understand common caregiver issues and continuously improve the training programme.

nWhat You Will Do

nCaregiver Training

- Conduct training sessions for new caregivers.
n
- Train caregivers on childcare basics, hygiene, safety and professional conduct.
n
- Teach age-appropriate childcare practices for newborns, infants and young children.
n
- Train caregivers on feeding, bathing, sleeping routines, play and basic child engagement.
n
- Train caregivers on safe handling of children and common childcare situations.
n
- Conduct practical demonstrations and role plays where required.
n

nAssessment & Certification

n

- Assess caregivers before and after training.
n
- Conduct practical assessments to check caregiver readiness.
n
- Identify knowledge and skill gaps.
n
- Recommend additional training where required.
n
- Maintain training and assessment records.
n
- Ensure only caregivers meeting Maasi standards are cleared for deployment.

nTraining Content

- Help build and improve caregiver training modules.
n
- Create simple training materials, checklists and assessments.
n




- Update training based on feedback from parents and Operations.
n
- Identify recurring caregiver mistakes and incorporate them into training.
n

nPost-Deployment Support

n

- Work with Operations to understand issues reported by families.
n
- Identify whether issues are related to training or caregiver behaviour.
n
- Conduct refresher training when required.
n
- Support the Operations team in improving caregiver quality over time.
n

nWhat We Are Looking For

nExperience in childcare, early childhood education, nursing, teaching, caregiver training, hospitality training or a related field.

- Strong understanding of childcare and child safety.
n
- Good communication and teaching skills.
n
- Comfortable training groups of caregivers from different backgrounds.
n
- Patient and clear while teaching practical skills.
n
- Strong observation and assessment skills.
n
- Comfortable conducting practical demonstrations.
n
- Valuable documentation and process discipline.
n
- Willing to work closely with the Operations team.
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

nYou should enjoy teaching practical skills.

nYou should be able to explain something simply, demonstrate it clearly and then assess whether someone can actually do it.

nYou should be comfortable telling a caregiver:

n“You are not ready yet. Let's work on this and assess you again.”

nYou will be responsible for maintaining a standard, not simply completing training sessions.
