Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Trade & Finance Executive to manage day-to-day trade finance operations, import/export documentation, banking transactions, and coordination with customers, suppliers, banks, and internal teams. The role will ensure smooth execution of international trade transactions while maintaining compliance with applicable banking, regulatory, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Finance Operations

- Handle import trade finance transactions from initiation to closure.
- Manage Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Documentary Collections, and advance payment transactions.
- Coordinate with banks for LC issuance, amendments, negotiation, discounting, and document handling.
- Monitor LC terms and ensure timely submission of compliant shipping and commercial documents.
- Follow up on payment realization and outstanding trade transactions.

Import Documentation
- Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, purchase orders, shipping documents, certificates, and other trade- related documentation.
- Ensure documentation complies with LC terms, banking requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Track import and maintain proper transaction records.

Banking & Finance
- Coordinate with banks for trade finance facilities, payments, remittances, and foreign currency transactions.
- Handle foreign inward/outward remittances and related documentation.
- Monitor bank charges, interest, commissions, and other trade finance costs.
- Assist in reconciliation of bank accounts and trade-related transactions.
- Maintain records of working capital and trade finance utilization.





Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure transactions comply with company policies, FEMA/RBI requirements, and applicable import/export regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and statutory requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports related to trade finance, imports, exports, payments, receivables, and outstanding transactions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and transaction details.

Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics, Commercial, and Treasury teams.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, banks, customs agents, and freight forwarders.
- Resolve documentation and payment-related issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Trade Finance and International Banking.
- Working knowledge of LC, BG, Documentary Collection, TT/SWIFT payments, and foreign remittances.
- Good understanding of import/export documentation and processes.
- Knowledge of FEMA, RBI guidelines, and basic foreign exchange regulations.
- Solid Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Good analytical, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines accurately.

Qualification & Experience Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration. 2–5 years of experience in Trade Finance, Banking

Operations, Import Finance, Treasury.
