Technical Sales Engineer Civil/Structural (GFRP Rebar & Mesh)

5-8 years experience

Buildedge manufactures GFRP (glass fibre reinforced polymer) rebar and mesh, a corrosion-free alternative to steel reinforcement, certified under IS 18256. We're bringing a new material into Indian construction and need an engineer who can make the technical case to consultants and turn it into orders.

You'll be

1, Meeting structural consultants, PMCs, government engineers and contractors to get GFRP specified on projects

1. Reviewing structural drawings, BBS, BOQs and specs, and proposing GFRP solutions per IS 456 / IS 18256
2. Tracking projects from specification through enquiry, quotation and order
3. Preparing technical presentations, proposals and quotations
4.



Visiting sites and consultant offices regularly across NCR

You have B.E./B.Tech Civil (Diploma with strong experience considered)

5 to 8 years in technical or specification sales: TMT, construction chemicals, precast, formwork or similar

Existing relationships with structural consultants/PMCs in NCR (strong plus)

Comfort reading reinforcement drawings and discussing them with engineers

Two-wheeler/car and willingness to travel locally
