Role & responsibilities

- Lead the design, development and delivery of Java-based applications using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.

- Define the technical architecture and ensure solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable.

- Lead, mentor and manage a team of developers, including task allocation, code reviews and performance feedback.

- Plan and run sprints in Agile/Scrum, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.

- Communicate directly with international clients to understand requirements, give regular updates, manage expectations and resolve issues.

- Break requirements into technical tasks, estimate effort and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

- Enforce coding standards, clean code practices and unit test coverage.

- Debug and resolve complex technical issues found during testing and in production.

- Work with QA, DevOps, product and business teams to ensure smooth releases.

- Identify technical risks early and propose mitigation plans.

- Keep project documentation,



technical designs and release notes up to date.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech / B.E. / MCA or equivalent from a reputed university.

- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Java (Java 8 or higher; Java 17 preferred).

- Strong experience in Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Hibernate/JPA.

- Strong knowledge of REST API design and development, and of Microservices architecture.

- Positive knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or similar), including query optimization.

- Proven experience leading and managing a development team.

- Hands-on experience running sprints in Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Proven experience managing international clients and handling client calls, demos and requirement discussions.

- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git and Maven/Gradle.

- Excellent written and spoken English.
