About the Role

We are seeking a sharp, delivery-focused, and hands-on Tech Lead – Full Stack Developer to lead our engineering team across web, mobile, and intelligent automation systems. In this role, you will lead high-level technical architecture, conduct rigorous code reviews, and provide hands-on technical guidance and real-time debugging for junior engineers.

A core focus of this position is architecting and integrating conversational AI/ML bots and WhatsApp Cloud API chatbots into production applications. If you excel at mentoring early-career developers, identifying logic flaws and security vulnerabilities in AI-generated code, optimizing relational databases, and deploying robust applications, this role is designed for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Hands-on Architecture & Full Stack Delivery: Architect, build, and maintain production-ready web platforms and cross-platform mobile apps using React.js, React Native, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- WhatsApp & AI/ML Bot Engineering: Design, build, and deploy conversational WhatsApp chatbots using the WhatsApp Business/Cloud API; integrate LLMs/AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, or custom ML pipelines) for intent recognition, structured JSON extraction, and automated workflow triggers.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Actively lead, guide, and unblock a team of 5+ junior/fresher developers through daily technical challenges, hands-on pair debugging, and core programming coaching.
- Rigorous Code Reviews & Quality Control: Perform thorough, line-by-line pull request (PR) reviews. Ensure code quality, clean architecture, and security best practices—specifically identifying edge-case failures, unhandled exceptions, and hallucinations in code generated by AI tools.
- Database Design & Performance Tuning: Manage PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, ACID transactions, and connection pooling.
- API Design & Integration Pipelines: Architect scalable RESTful APIs, manage asynchronous event queues,



and implement reliable webhook receivers for third-party platforms and messaging channels.
- Cloud & DevOps: Oversee deployment workflows using Docker and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (RDS, S3, EC2/ECS) alongside automated CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 5–8 years of professional full-stack engineering experience, including at least 1–2 years in a technical leadership or mentoring capacity.
- AI/ML & WhatsApp Bot Integration: Proven hands-on experience building, integrating, and deploying WhatsApp chatbots via the WhatsApp Cloud/Business API; demonstrated experience integrating LLM APIs or ML models into production backends with strict JSON outputs and asynchronous webhook processing.
- Frontend & Mobile Mastery: Strong proficiency in React.js for web applications and React Native for cross-platform mobile applications, state management (Redux/Zustand), and responsive UI implementation.
- Backend Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), event-driven asynchronous programming, and secure REST API design.
- Database Expertise: Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL (complex queries, indexing, query execution plans, transactions) and hands-on management of AWS RDS.
- Cloud & DevOps: Practical experience with AWS core services (RDS, EC2, S3), Docker containerization, Docker Compose, and Git workflows.
- Debugging & Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to trace bugs, understand runtime behavior without relying solely on automated tools, and teach foundational programming concepts to junior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with message queues (AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, or BullMQ) to handle high-concurrency webhook traffic for chat platforms.
- Familiarity with vector search, semantic embeddings, or caching layers (Redis).
- Prior experience in early-stage startups, quick-paced product development, or SaaS delivery.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,637,412.98 per year
