Role Description The Team Leader Safety Officer will oversee on-site safety activities for construction projects in Thane, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective and preventive measures. The role involves supervising site safety personnel, coordinating with project managers and contractors,



and conducting toolbox talks and safety training sessions for site teams.

The Team Leader Safety

Officer will maintain accurate safety documentation, incident reports, and compliance records, while regularly communicating safety performance and improvement plans to stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision experience to lead safety teams and monitor daily construction activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to liaise with site staff, management, and external stakeholders on safety matters.
- Candidates should possess Inspection and Construction Safety skills to conduct audits, identify risks, and implement safety controls on-site.
- Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety, engineering, or construction management are preferred.
- Knowledge of local safety regulations, standards, and permitting requirements in the construction industry is beneficial.
- Experience in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and preparation of safety reports is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Thane and adapt to dynamic construction environments.
