Position: VMware Administrator

Experience: 8-12 Years

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.

- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of VMware infrastructure.

- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning.

- Handle VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and clustering technologies.

- Manage virtual machine provisioning, migration, and lifecycle activities.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, backup, and network teams for issue resolution.

- Ensure system security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Perform patch management, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities.

Required Skills:





- Strong experience in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Administration.

- Hands-on experience with VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, and SRM.

- Knowledge of virtual storage, SAN/NAS, and backup solutions.

- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity management.

- Familiarity with Windows and Linux server administration.

- Exposure to automation using PowerCLI or scripting tools is preferred.

- Valuable understanding of data center operations and virtualization best practices.
