Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor / Civil Surveyor with 611 years of hands-on experience in factory buildings, industrial construction, individual land surveys, setting-out works and column marking as per approved plans and drawings.

The candidate should be capable of independently carrying out surveying activities from initial land measurements through construction execution, ensuring accurate alignment, levels, boundaries and structural setting-out.

Candidates with robust experience in factory, warehouse, industrial or large construction projects will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct complete land and site surveys for construction projects.
- Carry out individual land surveys and boundary measurements.
- Establish reference points, benchmarks, grid lines and levels.
- Mark building layout as per approved drawings.
- Carry out column setting-out and column marking as per structural plan.
- Mark foundation locations, centre lines and structural grids.
- Verify coordinates, levels and dimensions before execution.
- Conduct topographical and contour surveys when required.
- Check building alignment and structural positions during construction.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, structural engineers and site teams.
- Cross-check drawings before marking work on site.
- Conduct as-built surveys after execution.
- Verify plot boundaries, setbacks and site dimensions.
- Support road, drainage, utility and external development survey works.
- Maintain proper survey records and field measurements.
- Prepare or support survey reports and measurement data.




- Ensure accuracy of all survey points and construction references.
- Identify discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings.
- Monitor levels during excavation, foundation and structural works.
- Carry out periodic survey checks throughout the construction process.
- Maintain and properly use surveying instruments.

Surveying Instruments / Skills Required The candidate should have practical experience using:
- Total Station
- Auto Level
- Digital Level
- Theodolite
- GPS / DGPS, if applicable
- Levelling instruments
- Surveying accessories and measuring equipment

Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey drawing interpretation will be an added advantage.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant Surveying qualification.
- 6–11 years of relevant surveying experience.
- Strong experience in construction and land surveying.
- Experience in factory / industrial / warehouse construction projects preferred.
