Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and publish news stories across personal finance, gold, stock markets, IPOs, banking, government policies, taxation, and economic affairs.
- Rewrite and optimise content for digital audiences while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and strong storytelling.
- Ensure all content follows SEO best practices, including keyword optimisation, SEO-friendly headlines, meta descriptions, URL structure, internal linking, and alignment with search intent.
- Monitor search trends, Google Discover trends, and audience behaviour to identify content opportunities.
- Verify facts, data points, financial figures, and source information before publication.
- Create compelling headlines, summaries, and social media-friendly copies to improve user engagement.
- Work closely with reporters, writers, and editorial teams to improve content quality and performance.
- Update existing articles with fresh information to improve search rankings and audience relevance.
- Ensure content meets editorial guidelines related to grammar, plagiarism checks, copyright compliance, and accuracy.




- Track article performance using analytics tools and use insights to improve content strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 0-3 years of experience in digital journalism, preferably in business, finance, or economic news.
- Excellent command of English with robust editing, proofreading, and rewriting skills.
- Mandatory understanding of SEO principles and digital content optimisation.
- Hands-on knowledge of keyword research, search intent, SEO headlines, and content optimisation.
- Ability to understand financial concepts and simplify complex topics for readers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to editorial accuracy.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics, Search Console and digital publishing tools are preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment and meet deadlines.
