Key Responsibilities
- Reading Drawings: Interpret structural, GA (general arrangement), and fabrication blueprints.
- Marking and Layout: Locate reference lines, centerlines, and frame lines on steel plates.
- Fitting and Aligning: Position and secure hull blocks, decks, stiffeners, and bulkheads using jacks, wedges, and chain blocks.
- Tack Welding: Perform temporary tack welds to hold pieces firmly in place before final welding by certified welders.
- Quality & Safety: Check dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools while wearing required PPE
Pay: ₹9,265.65 - ₹29,086.84 per month
