Role Description This is a full time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Kolhapur.
The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and calculations for steel structures, PEB systems, silos, and piping supports, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design drawings, models, and technical documentation, and coordinating with CAD technicians to ensure accurate detailing. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, fabrication teams, and site engineers to address design queries, optimize structural solutions, and support project execution.
The Structural
Engineer will participate in design reviews, assist in resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles, with the ability to apply them to industrial steel structures and related systems.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and Calculations for various load conditions, materials, and design codes.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing structural drawings and models.
- Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Attention to detail, ability to interpret technical drawings, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with cross-functional engineering, fabrication, and site teams.
- Experience in industrial sectors such as sugar, distillery, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical, power, or oil and gas is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolhapur and manage multiple projects within defined timelines.
