Role Description The Strategic Procurement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading end-to-end procurement activities for key materials, intermediates, and services. This role involves developing and executing strategic sourcing plans, identifying and evaluating suppliers, and managing long-term supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective, reliable supply. The manager will oversee contract negotiation and contract management, monitor market trends, analyze procurement data, and drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes.

Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with R&D;, manufacturing, quality,



and finance teams to align procurement strategies with business goals, managing risk and supply assurance, and implementing policies that support compliance and sustainability. The role also includes preparing procurement reports, tracking key performance indicators, and supporting decision-making for senior leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and sourcing expertise, including demonstrated skills in Procurement and Supplier Evaluation.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with solid Analytical Skills for cost analysis, vendor performance review, and market research.
- Experience in strategic Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, with the ability to secure favorable terms and mitigate risk.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build long-term supplier partnerships, and support operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is an advantage.
- Background in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing procurement is highly beneficial, including familiarity with regulatory and quality standards.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
- Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems and MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.
