Job Title: Store Incharge (Garments)

Department: Store

Report's To: Production Manager / Factory Manager

Job Summary:

The Store Incharge is responsible for managing all store operations in a garments unit, including receiving, storing, issuing materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role ensures smooth material flow to support production without delays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle receipt of raw materials (fabric, trims, accessories) and verify quantities and quality.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of materials to avoid damage or loss.
- Issue materials to production departments as per requisitions.
- Keep accurate stock records (manual or software-based).
- Conduct regular stock verification and audits.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform management for reordering.
- Ensure proper labeling, binning, and stacking of all items.
- Coordinate with purchase, production, and quality teams.
- Maintain records of inward and outward materials.




- Prevent pilferage, wastage, and stock discrepancies.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in the store area.
- Handle returns, rejections, and surplus materials efficiently.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of garment materials (fabrics, trims, accessories)
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel / inventory software)
- Robust organizational and record-keeping ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Problem-solving ability

Qualifications:

- Minimum Diploma / Degree (any field)
- 2–5 years of experience in garment store/warehouse management

Working Conditions:

- Factory/store environment
- May involve standing, lifting, and handling materials

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
