We are looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Stone Assorter to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for sorting and inspecting natural stones based on size, colour, quality, shape, finish, and other specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Sort and segregate stones according to size, colour, quality, shape, and grade.
- Inspect stones for cracks, chips, discoloration, defects, and other quality issues.
- Separate acceptable and defective stones as per company quality standards.
- Ensure proper handling and stacking of stones to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow production, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other team members regarding sorting and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate records or counts of sorted material when required.

Requirements

- Previous experience in stone sorting, stone processing, marble, granite, or a similar industry is preferred.




- Good observation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify differences in stone quality, colour, size, and finish.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a production/stone-processing workplace.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Willingness to follow safety and quality standards.
