Job Title: Project Centre Head – DDU-GKY

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced (minimum 3-5 years in DDU-GKY) and result-oriented Project Centre Head to oversee and manage the overall operations of our DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana) Skill Development Training Centres.

The State

Head will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, including candidate mobilization, training quality, residential management (if applicable), placement, and compliance with State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) and Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operations & Centre Management:
- Lead daily operational activities of the training centre in full compliance with DDU-GKY SOP guidelines.
- Ensure smooth running of classes, infrastructure availability, lab setups, and residential/boarding facilities.
- Mobilization & Admissions:
- Coordinate mobilization drives in targeted rural areas to meet batch launch targets and eligibility criteria.
- Training & Academic Oversight:
- Oversee trainers and domain experts to maintain high-quality delivery of domain training, IT, Soft Skills, and English curriculum.
- Monitor candidate attendance, biometrics, and assessment readiness.
- Placement & Tracking:
- Collaborate with the placement team to achieve target placement ratios for trained candidates.




- Ensure mandatory 3 to 6-month placement tracking and proof documentation as per DDU-GKY norms.
- Compliance, Audits & Documentation:
- Prepare for and represent the centre during SRLM, NIRD, and CTSA audit inspections.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, candidate files, registers, and portal entries (e.g., Kaushal Pragati / MRIGS).
- Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage trainers, mobilization staff, and support staff.
- Maintain healthy relationships with local administration, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), and SRLM officials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, Social Work (MSW), Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of operational experience in skill development programs, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a DDU-GKY project.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of DDU-GKY Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), mobilization protocols, assessment procedures, and tracking requirements.
- Skills: Strong leadership, team management, communication, and reporting skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
