Job****Description: State RCU Head

Role****purpose State RCU Head for a fast-growing Micro LAP NBFC, combining strong field-investigation governance with an automation-first operating model and a strategic mandate to strengthen risk culture and prevent gaps before they materialize.

Reporting/Location

Reports to: Head – RCU & Vigilance, works closely with state Credit, Business, Ops, Legal, Analytics and Collections. No of Vacancy: Total 6 (1 State RCU Head for each location)

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Vizag, Hyderabad, Rajasthan and Lucknow (multi-geo coverage; travel as required)

Key****Responsibilities

Ø Lead and manage the RCU agency/team across state, ensuring robust oversight on fraud prevention and field investigation activities. Ø Oversee field verification, customer due diligence, and vendor audits to ensure adherence to company policies and RBI guidelines for respective state.

Ø Collaborate with state credit, operations, legal, and analytics teams to identify early warning signals and emerging fraud patterns.

Ø Drive root-cause analysis for fraud cases, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented and tracked to closure.

Ø Liaise with state law enforcement agencies, external investigators,



and regulatory bodies when required; support case documentation and evidence readiness.

RequiredSkills&Experience:

Ø Prior experience in Pre/Post RCU at least 8-10 years preferably in Micro LAP and LAP within NBFCs, Banks, or FinTechs. Ø Strong local area knowledge preferred

Ø Proactive field experience

Ø Strong understanding of retail lending operations and fraud typologies (document/property/customer, identity, collusion, vendor-related, collection fraud).

Ø Proven experience in managing field investigation and internal / external partners across the state.

Ø Experience in investigation of Internal / External parties including Whistleblower cases across Micro LAP / LAP products along with RCA

Ø Identifying gaps & suggesting process improvement to mitigate lapses/ Preparing Investigation Reports, MIS & Presentations

Ø Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret trends and recommend actionable insights to business and risk leadership.

Ø Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills; ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
