Job Opening – Staff Nurse

Position: Staff Nurse – In-House Patient Care

Location: Durgapur, West Bengal

Employment Type: Full-Time / Residential

Department: Rehabilitation & Patient Care

We are looking for a responsible, compassionate, and dedicated Staff Nurse to provide nursing care and health monitoring for in-house residents at our rehabilitation center.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day nursing care and support to in-house residents.
- Monitor vital signs such as BP, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, etc.
- Administer medicines and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
- Maintain accurate patient records, medication charts, and nursing documentation.
- Monitor residents for changes in physical or mental health and report concerns promptly.
- Assist doctors and psychiatrists during consultations and medical check-ups.
- Handle basic first-aid and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards for residents.
- Support residents during withdrawal/recovery periods as per medical instructions.
- Coordinate with counsellors, doctors, caregivers, and management regarding patient care.




- Maintain confidentiality and treat every resident with dignity and compassion.
- Ensure proper handover of patient information between shifts.

Eligibility
- Qualification: GNM / ANM / B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent.
- Valid nursing registration preferred.
- Experience in a hospital, rehabilitation center, de-addiction center, psychiatric facility, or similar healthcare setting will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good communication and patient-care skills may also apply.

- Basic knowledge of medicines and emergency procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle patients calmly and professionally
- Responsible, disciplined, and compassionate attitude
- Ability to work in shifts

Preferred Experience with in-house/de-addiction or rehabilitation patients will be an added advantage.
