About the Role

M. V. Shoe Care Pvt Ltd. is seeking a results-driven Sr. Manager: Finance & Accounts to lead our core finance and accounting operations. In this key position, you will oversee financial accounting, statutory compliance, costing, inventory management, MIS reporting, direct taxation, and overseas financial consolidation. You will serve as a key advisor to leadership, maintaining robust internal controls while delivering analytical insights that drive strategic business decisions.

This position demands robust expertise in international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP/Ind AS) and mandatory international financial management and financial report merging experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Accounting & Reporting: Oversee monthly general ledger operations, drive timely month-end and year-end financial closures, maintain balance sheet reconciliations including accounting provisions.
- Financial Statements & Compliance: Prepare monthly/quarterly/annually executive MIS reports as per Ind AS/AS standards.
- Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Collaborate on annual budgeting processes, rolling forecasts, and prepare detailed variance analyses (budget vs. actual) to highlight operational insights.
- Costing & Inventory Management: Verify costing methodologies, inventory accounting, valuation, and SKU-level profitability analysis tailored to a manufacturing environment.
- Taxation & Statutory Audits: Compute direct taxes, and data for all financial audits including tax audits.
- Overseas & Group Accounting: Oversee accounting for overseas subsidiaries, managing inter-company reconciliations and consolidated group financial statement reporting.




- Cash Flow & Capital Management: Support CFO on working capital, cash flow movements, liquidity management and financial planning.
- Process Improvement & Controls: Enforce and strengthen internal financial controls (IFCoR), optimize accounting workflows and ensure complete adherence to corporate policies in collaboration with the CFO and reporting teams.

Essential Requirements

- Industry Background: 8-12 years of hands-on finance and accounting experience, strictly within a manufacturing or product-based organization.
- Technical and Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of Ind AS / AS / IFRS, drafting financial statements, direct taxation, audit management, product costing, budgeting, foreign exchange handling, and multi-entity group financial consolidation.
- Analytical Capability: Strong capability to interpret financial data and deliver actionable insights focused on cost savings, efficiency gains, and margin analysis to CFO.
- Strategic Communication: Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain financial results, data, and business implications to both finance teams and non-finance stakeholders as per set organizational direction.
- Operational Rigor and Execution: High accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, end-to-end ownership, and advanced proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel to streamline business processes and consistently deliver high-quality output within set timelines.
