About the Role

PAARK Business Consultants is hiring an experienced Sr. Manager – Electrical Estimation for Sterling & Wilson in Mumbai.

We are looking for a solid Electrical Estimation & Tendering professional with hands-on experience in EPC / MEP / Electrical Contracting projects, including tender analysis, BOQ, quantity take-off, costing, vendor coordination and bid preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse electrical tender documents, BOQs, specifications, SLDs and drawings.
- Manage end-to-end electrical estimation, tendering, quantity take-off and costing.
- Review BOQ quantities, project scope, exclusions, assumptions and deviations.
- Prepare competitive and commercially viable bids.
- Calculate material, equipment, manpower, installation and subcontracting costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering options and design alternatives.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Compare commercial and technical quotations and support negotiations.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Projects, Commercial and other internal teams.
- Estimate major electrical systems and equipment including:
- Transformers
- DG Sets
- HT/LT Panels
- RMU
- MCC/PCC
- UPS
- Busduct
- Power & Control Cables
- Cable Trays
- APFC
- Earthing & Lightning Protection
- Provide basic electrical design inputs and evaluate their cost impact.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings,



tender clarifications and commercial discussions.
- Identify commercial risks, cost implications and opportunities affecting project profitability.

Mandatory Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Electrical Estimation / Tendering / Costing.
- Strong experience in EPC, MEP or Electrical Contracting.
- Hands-on experience in Tender Analysis, BOQ Analysis, Quantity Take-Off and Cost Calculation.
- Strong understanding of electrical equipment, materials and installation costing.
- Experience in vendor and subcontractor coordination.
- Experience in quotation comparison and commercial negotiation.
- Good understanding of electrical SLDs, specifications and drawings.
- Strong core Electrical Estimation / Tendering background is mandatory.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Experience Candidates from Electrical EPC, MEP Contracting, Building Services, Infrastructure or similar project-based industries with strong tendering and estimation exposure will be preferred.
