Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Sr. Chief Engineering Manager (Structural) with 20 to 25 years of extensive experience in Structural Design Engineering, specializing in High-Rise, Mid-Rise, Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Institutional, Industrial and RCC Building Structures.

The incumbent will provide technical leadership for large and complex projects, lead multidisciplinary design teams, drive engineering excellence, ensure code compliance, optimize structural systems, and serve as a subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle.

The role demands solid expertise in structural analysis, design management, client engagement, value engineering, peer review, and mentoring of engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Lead structural design and engineering activities for high-rise and mid-rise RCC building projects.
- Review, approve and guide conceptual, preliminary and detailed structural designs.
- Drive structural system selection, design optimization, and constructability reviews.
- Provide technical solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Lead design risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Design Management

- Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Review design deliverables including:
- Structural calculations
- Analysis models
- GA drawings
- Reinforcement detailing
- Structural reports
- Design basis reports

- Ensure design quality, accuracy and schedule compliance.

Engineering Excellence

- Ensure compliance with:
- IS Codes
- International Design Standards




- NBC Guidelines
- Seismic Design Requirements
- Wind Engineering Requirements

- Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and performance.
- Establish best practices and standardization across projects.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with:
- Architects
- MEP Consultants
- Faade Consultants
- Geotechnical Consultants
- Construction Teams
- Project Management Consultants

- Interface with clients and stakeholders for technical discussions and approvals.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor teams of Structural Engineers and Design Managers.
- Conduct technical reviews and engineering audits.
- Build a high-performance engineering culture.
- Develop future technical leaders within the organization.

Client Management

- Participate in technical presentations and design reviews.
- Support business development and pursuit activities.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients.

Educational Qualifications

Preferred

- M.Tech / ME in Structural Engineering from a reputed institution.

Alternate

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a premier/reputed university with exceptional structural design experience.
