Industry: Special Purpose Machine (SPM) / Industrial Automation

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) as per customer requirements.
- Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed assembly drawings, part drawings, and BOM.
- Select suitable mechanical components such as cylinders, linear guides, bearings, motors, sensors, etc.
- Coordinate with Production, Assembly, Electrical and Purchase teams.
- Modify designs based on customer requirements and machine development.
- Ensure designs meet functional, quality, safety and manufacturing requirements.
- Support assembly and troubleshooting during machine development.
- Maintain design documents and engineering records.
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of SolidWorks – 3D & 2D.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances and material selection.
- Experience in SPM / Automation Machine Design preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
