1. Follow the splicer's work allocation and confirm the tools, consumables and protective equipment needed for each assignment.

2. Assist with cable preparation and controlled tube cutting, avoiding damage to fibres or neighbouring working cables.

3. Strip, clean and prepare fibres, and assist with cleaving in accordance with the splicer's instructions.

4. Identify tube and fibre colours and arrange prepared fibres in the correct sequence for jointing.

5. Route fibres, sleeves and slack neatly in trays and assist with enclosure fitting, labelling and sealing.

6. Assist with authorised chamber opening, closing and work-area arrangements using the required safety precautions.

7. Prepare test leads and support OTDR,



continuity or power testing as directed; record readings without independently certifying results.

8. Keep the tool kit, inverter and consumables organised, and report missing items, damage or low stock promptly.

9. Protect cables and equipment from moisture, dirt and handling damage; collect and dispose of fibre scraps safely.

10. Update the splicer on completed and pending tasks, assist with progress evidence, and support a transparent handover before leaving the site.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
