Key Responsibilities

1.

Inventory

Management &

- Control

- Monitor, track, and manage overall spare parts stock to ensure accurate inventory levels.

- Categorize and monitor stock movement (Fast-moving, Slow-moving, and Non-moving parts) to optimize capital allocation and prevent obsolescence.

- Conduct regular physical stock verifications, periodic audits, and reconcile any inventory discrepancies.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly structured warehouse/storage environment for quick retrieval.

2. Procurement &

- Supplier Relations

- Forecast parts requirements based on workshop demand, upcoming service campaigns, and historic sales data.

- Source genuine, high-quality Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or approved aftermarket parts.

- Coordinate with vendors, request quotes, issue Purchase Orders (POs), and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.

- Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and accuracy, and generate Goods Received Notes (GRN).

3. Workshop &

- Customer Support

- Coordinate closely with Service Advisors, Bodyshop Managers, and Technicians to ensure parts are available for internal repair jobs.

- Assist technicians and counter customers in accurately identifying required parts using parts manuals, digital electronic catalogs (EPC), and system architectures.

- Oversee counter sales and special orders for retail or walk-in customers to achieve monthly sales targets.

- Manage customer inquiries, prepare quotations, issue invoices, and promptly resolve complaints.

4. Documentation &

- Compliance





- Maintain meticulous digital and physical logs of all inward and outward stock movements.

- Handle warranty-related components, manage parts cores, and track the return of damaged or unused items to manufacturers.

- Prepare comprehensive daily, monthly, and annual reports on sales productivity, inventory value, and purchase cycles.

- Ensure full compliance with dealership guidelines, safety standards, and environmental regulations (e.g., handling hazardous materials).

Required Skills &

- Competencies

- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automobile systems, mechanical/electrical assemblies, and parts nomenclature (e.g., knowledge of brands like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Eicher, etc.).

- Inventory Mastery: Proficiency with inventory management principles, DMS (Dealer Management Systems), or ERP software (like CDK, SAP, or Tally).

- Analytical Skills: Competency in demand forecasting, data analysis, and checking registers for unavailable parts.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication, target-oriented mindset, negotiation skills, and leadership capabilities to guide store assistants.

Education &

Experience Requirements

- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Diploma or Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management is highly preferred.

- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven experience in an automotive spare parts warehouse, dealership store, or service workshop

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,500.00 per month
