Role Description The Softskill Trainer role at ICA Edu Skills is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The trainer will conduct interactive classroom sessions and workshops to build learners’ communication, presentation, interpersonal, and professional etiquette skills.

Responsibilities include designing and updating soft skills training modules, preparing training materials, and using varied instructional techniques to engage diverse learner groups. The role involves assessing participant needs, conducting evaluations and feedback sessions,



and tracking learner progress to ensure measurable improvement in workplace readiness. The trainer will collaborate with academic and placement teams to align soft skills training with industry expectations and support learners in becoming job-ready.

Qualifications

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English and the ability to engage diverse learner groups.
- Experience in delivering soft skills training such as presentation skills, interview skills, workplace etiquette, and team-building activities.
- Ability to design and adapt training content, create lesson plans, and employ interactive teaching methods (role plays, group discussions, simulations).
- Competence in assessing learner needs, conducting evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and digital tools for preparing training materials and maintaining learner records.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in Education, Psychology, HR, or Training & Development is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a trainer, facilitator, or teacher in vocational education or employability skills programs is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with academic and placement teams and to motivate learners from varied socio-economic backgrounds.
