We are looking for a Social Media Manager & Video Editor Intern who is creative, understands social media, enjoys making videos, and wants hands-on experience working on real brands and projects.

About the Role

This is a hands-on creative internship.

You will work closely with our creative and video team to plan, create, shoot, edit and manage social media content for Gimmmick and our clients.

You will not just be responsible for posting content.

We want someone who can:

Think of an idea → Plan the content → Shoot/Direct → Edit → Publish → Understand the performance

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media

- Plan and create Instagram content for Gimmmick and client brands
- Develop Reels, posts, stories and other social media content
- Research current social media trends and formats
- Write captions, hooks and basic scripts
- Help develop monthly content calendars
- Understand different audiences and brand personalities
- Assist in managing Instagram accounts
- Track basic content performance and engagement
- Suggest new content ideas to improve reach and engagement

Video & Content
- Edit Instagram Reels and short-form videos




- Work with raw footage and create engaging edits
- Assist with video shoots and content production
- Help create shot lists and basic scripts
- Direct easy social media videos when required
- Select music, sound effects and transitions
- Add text, subtitles and basic motion graphics
- Maintain consistent visual style across content

Creative
- Come up with new content ideas
- Create story-based and trend-based content
- Develop concepts for brand campaigns
- Research references and competitors
- Work closely with designers, photographers and video teams

What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who:
- Is genuinely interested in social media and content creation
- Understands Instagram and short-form video
- Has a good sense of trends and internet culture
- Can think creatively and come up with original ideas
- Has basic video editing skills
- Can tell a story through video
- Has good communication skills
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment
- Is willing to learn and take feedback
- Can work both independently and with a team

Editing Skills Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Final Cut Pro

You don't need to know everything.



Good creative thinking and willingness to learn are more important. Who Can Apply?

- Students pursuing media, communication, advertising, marketing, design, filmmaking or related courses
- Fresh graduates
- Candidates with 0–1 year of experience
- Self-taught creators with a strong portfolio
- Instagram/Reels creators who understand content

A strong portfolio or examples of your work will be an advantage.
