We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to assist with day-to-day social media activities, content creation, and audience engagement across our social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Create and schedule social media posts, stories and reels.
- Assist with content calendars and monthly planning.
- Edit short-form videos/reels using Canva, CapCut, InShot or similar tools.
- Create basic creatives, carousels, thumbnails and promotional content.
- Research trending topics, sounds, formats and relevant content ideas.
- Write captions, hashtags and keywords for social media posts.
- Monitor comments and DMs and assist with timely responses.
- Track basic social media performance and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with the content/marketing team for shoots, campaigns and other requirements.
- Stay updated with social media trends and suggest new content ideas.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/course in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Media, Communications or a related field
- .Positive understanding of Instagram and other social media platforms
- .Basic knowledge of Canva and video editing tools
- .Good written English and communication skills
- .Creative mindset with an eye for visual content
- .Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
- .Prior internship/project experience in social media is an advantage, but freshers are welcome
