Key Responsibilities

- Support MSI's Senior Manager of Social Impact in executing and managing MSI's Social Impact initiatives in both the US and India.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with nonprofit partners and serve as a primary point of contact. Conduct regular field visits to monitor project implementation, interact with beneficiaries, verify outcomes, and provide recommendations based on ground-level observations.
- Lead project monitoring, evaluations, and impact assessments to ensure funded initiatives achieve their intended outcomes.
- Support end-to-end NGO onboarding, organizational due diligence, and compliance with funding and reporting requirements.
- Review grant proposals, project plans, budgets, and supporting documentation to assist in funding recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive field visit reports, impact assessments, and management presentations. Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports. Develop partnerships with foundations, CSR organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to expand MSI's social impact initiatives. Identify and leverage relevant public policies and government schemes to strengthen and scale charitable initiatives. Plan and lead employee engagement initiatives, including volunteering programs, donation drives, awareness campaigns, and community outreach activities for Bengaluru office employees. Represent MSI at partner meetings, conferences, workshops, and community engagements. Perform additional duties as required and/or requested.

Candidate Profile

Master's degree in Social Work, Economics, Development Studies,



Public Health, Public Policy, Rural Management, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in the philanthropy, CSR, or nonprofit sector, preferably in education, healthcare, nutrition, or livelihood development.

Experience in grant management, grant administration, project monitoring, due diligence, impact assessment, and stakeholder management.

- Strong research, analytical, and report writing skills. Knowledge of public policy frameworks and government welfare schemes applicable to social sector programs in India.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to prepare reports and presentations for management.

Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies with the ability to understand basic data quality principles and practices.

- Fluent in English and Hindi. Based in Bengaluru with flexibility to travel extensively within India and internationally, depending on project requirements.
