Site Supervisor

Job Title: Site Supervisor

Department: Construction / Projects

Reports To: Project Manager / Site Engineer

Job Summary The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, coordinating workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed according to drawings and specifications, and maintaining safety, quality, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily construction activities and site operations.
- Coordinate and monitor workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Check site measurements and maintain daily progress records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and availability of materials, tools, and equipment.




- Monitor project progress and report delays or site issues to management.
- Implement and maintain site safety procedures and ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
- Identify and resolve routine site-related problems.
- Maintain site documentation, attendance records, material records, and daily reports.
- Ensure the site is kept clean, organized, and compliant with applicable safety requirements.
- Assist in inspections, testing, snagging, and project handover activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
- 25 years of relevant site supervision experience.
- Valuable knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and site practices.
- Ability to manage workers and subcontractors effectively.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and construction documentation.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and deadlines.
