Role Summary

We are seeking a Site Supervisor to handle day-to-day site execution in Nagpur for our Water Distribution Project . The ideal candidate has hands-on site experience in civil/mechanical works along with a disciplined approach to site records, material reconciliation and measurement, and can run daily site activities under the guidance of the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily site execution pipeline laying, jointing, testing, chambers, valve/hydrant fixing, road restoration and allied civil/mechanical works as per drawings, specifications and approved methodology.
- Deploy and control site labours; monitor daily progress against targets and report shortfalls.
- Supervise road restoration works backfilling, compaction and layer-wise restoration as per approved cross-section.
- Record site measurements accurately and maintain the measurement book; participate in joint measurement with the client's representatives.
- Handle Site related issued material receipt from client store, issue to site teams, recording of pipe/valve serial or batch numbers, consumption against work done,



and reconciliation of excess or shortfall.
- Maintain daily progress reports, labour and material registers, and site documentation for submission to the office and the client.
- Coordinate with client engineers, municipal authorities and local stakeholders for site clearances, permissions and inspections.
- Escalate site obstructions, drawing discrepancies and material shortages promptly to the Project Engineer/Manager.

Required Skills

- Hands-on site experience in water supply, sewerage, pipeline laying or treatment plant projects, preferably with a contractor working for urban local bodies, Jal Nigam/Jal Board or private operators.
- Working knowledge of DI/HDPE/MS pipe laying, jointing, pressure testing and road restoration practices.
- Able to read drawings and BOQs, and to record measurements correctly.
- Basic computer literacy MS Excel, WhatsApp-based reporting, email.
- Willing to work at site full time.
