Job Summary

We are looking for a Shopify Developer with hands-on experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to join our team. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores while also analyzing website performance and implementing improvements that enhance user experience and increase conversions.

The role requires a combination of strong Shopify development skills, analytical thinking, UX understanding, and a performance-driven approach.

Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Development

- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus websites.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Create and modify product pages, collection pages, landing pages, cart pages, and other Shopify sections.
- Implement custom functionalities based on business and marketing requirements.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
- Ensure websites are responsive and optimized across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Identify and resolve website bugs, theme issues, app conflicts, and performance issues.
- Optimize Shopify stores for speed, performance, and usability.
- Maintain proper tracking implementation for marketing and analytics platforms where required.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

- Analyze website performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Review customer journeys from landing page to checkout and identify areas of friction.
- Optimize product pages, collection pages, landing pages, cart pages, and checkout journeys.
- Recommend and implement improvements to website layout, navigation, CTAs, product presentation, and overall user experience.
- Conduct A/B tests and analyze the impact of website changes.
- Monitor key e-commerce metrics such as:




- Conversion Rate
- Add-to-Cart Rate
- Checkout Initiation Rate
- Cart Abandonment Rate
- Bounce Rate
- Average Order Value
- Use analytics and user-behaviour data to make data-driven CRO recommendations.
- Work closely with marketing, design, content, and performance marketing teams to improve campaign landing-page performance.
- Continuously test and optimize the website to improve customer experience and revenue.

Required Skills

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working with Shopify.
- Solid understanding of Shopify themes and Shopify Liquid.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Experience with Shopify apps, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of e-commerce UX/UI principles and CRO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Ability to analyze website and customer behaviour data.
- Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation.
- Knowledge of website speed and performance optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple teams.

Good to Have

- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, VWO, or similar behaviour analytics/CRO platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO.
- Experience creating campaign-specific and high-converting landing pages.
- Knowledge of Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, and other e-commerce tracking integrations.
- Experience working with D2C or e-commerce brands.

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is technically strong, analytical, and interested in improving both the functionality and commercial performance of e-commerce websites. The candidate should be comfortable moving beyond development tasks and actively identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, conversion rates, and online revenue.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
