nJob Summary

nWe are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, integrations, and platform architecture .

nThe candidate will be responsible for designing scalable and enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions , defining technical architecture and integration strategies, establishing platform best practices, and providing technical leadership across ServiceNow implementations and transformation initiatives.

nThe ideal candidate should have a strong balance of architecture and hands-on technical expertise , with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and application teams.

nKey Responsibilities

- Define and own the technical architecture and solution design for ServiceNow ITOM and related platform initiatives.
n
- Design scalable solutions across CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Service Graph Connectors and CSDM .
n
- Define CMDB architecture, data models, CI relationships, data governance and CSDM alignment .
n
- Architect integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems, cloud platforms and monitoring tools, including AWS .
n
- Define integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, MID Server and Scripted REST APIs .
n
- Provide architectural guidance on configuration vs customization , ensuring solutions remain scalable, maintainable and upgrade-safe.
n
- Define and review technical solutions involving JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes,



Business Rules and other ServiceNow development components .
n
- Establish ServiceNow platform architecture standards, development best practices, security and governance frameworks .
n
- Provide technical leadership for ITSM capabilities including Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment and Change Management where required.
n
- Support architecture and integration requirements for DevOps, CI/CD and release/deployment processes .
n
- Conduct technical design reviews, architecture reviews and code/design governance.
n
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping and integration issues .
n
- Work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps and application teams to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
n
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to ServiceNow developers and implementation teams.
n
- Contribute to solution proposals, technical documentation, estimation and RFP/RFI responses where required.
n
- Support ServiceNow upgrade planning, platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

nRequired Skills

- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 8+ years of relevant ServiceNow experience .
n
- Strong experience in ServiceNow architecture and solution design .
n
- Strong hands-on expertise in ITOM .
n
- Extensive experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management .
n




- Strong understanding of CSDM, CMDB governance, CI relationships and data management .
n
- Experience with Service Graph Connectors .
n
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices .
n
- Strong ServiceNow JavaScript and scripting skills.
n
- Valuable knowledge of Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules and Client Scripts .
n
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs and bidirectional integrations .
n
- Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer and MID Server .
n
- Experience with AWS / cloud integrations and Discovery .
n
- Good understanding of ITSM, Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment and Change Management .
n
- Exposure to ServiceNow DevOps, CI/CD and deployment integrations .
n
- Experience in technical design, architecture reviews and solution governance .
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

nGood to Have

- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progress toward CTA.
n
- ServiceNow ITOM Implementation Specialist / CIS-ITOM certification.
n
- CIS – Discovery / CMDB / CSDM .
n
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps .
n
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and large-scale enterprise implementations .
n
- Experience working with enterprise architecture teams and architecture governance boards .
n
- Experience with ServiceNow AI / Now Assist / automation is an advantage.
