Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Server Assembly Engineer role based in Delhi.

The Server Assembly

Engineer will be responsible for assembling, configuring, and testing servers, storage units, and related hardware components according to technical specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include installing processors, memory, storage devices, and network interfaces; performing wiring and cable management; and conducting functional and stress tests to validate system performance. The role involves diagnosing hardware issues, replacing faulty components, maintaining documentation of configurations and test results, and coordinating with engineering and QA teams to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.





The Server Assembly

Engineer will also support continuous improvement in assembly processes and may assist in on-site deployment, basic troubleshooting, and after-sales technical support as needed.

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with server hardware assembly, including installation of CPUs, RAM, storage drives, RAID controllers, and network cards.
- Strong understanding of system integration and testing, including BIOS/firmware configuration, hardware diagnostics, and performance verification.
- Knowledge of server architectures, storage solutions, and basic networking concepts used in data centers and enterprise IT environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and assembly guidelines.
- Familiarity with ESD-safe handling practices, safety standards, and quality control procedures in electronics manufacturing.
- Good documentation and reporting skills to record configurations, test results, and issue resolutions clearly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced production workplace.
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; relevant certifications in hardware or server technologies are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an OEM, hardware manufacturing, or system integration environment, especially with mission-critical applications, is preferred.
