Hiya Digital Private Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO intern to join our digital marketing team in Chembur, Mumbai.

This practical, hands-on internship is designed for students, fresh graduates, and aspiring digital marketers who want to build real-world experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

You will work on real websites and SEO projects while learning how to plan, implement, monitor, and improve professional SEO campaigns.

You will gain practical exposure to keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization, link building, technical SEO, SEO analytics, rank tracking, competitor research, and SEO reporting.

What You Will Learn

Key Responsibilities:

Keyword Research

- Research relevant keywords and search queries.
- Analyze search intent, competition, and search opportunities.

- Identify current content and SEO opportunities.

On-Page SEO

- Optimize website content for target keywords and search intent.
- Assist with title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal links.
- Review website pages for basic SEO issues.
- Help improve content structure and relevance.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building

- Research relevant websites and backlink opportunities.
- Assist with link-building campaigns.
- Research directories, blogs, publications, and other relevant websites.
- Support outreach and backlink acquisition activities.
- Monitor and maintain backlink records.





Website & Technical SEO

- Assist with basic SEO audits.
- Identify issues related to crawling, indexing, broken links, redirects, and website structure.
- Learn how technical SEO factors can affect organic search performance.
- Work with senior team members to implement SEO recommendations.

SEO Analytics & Reporting

- Monitor keyword rankings and organic search visibility.
- Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to analyze website performance.
- Track organic traffic and other SEO metrics.
- Prepare SEO reports and presentations.
- Identify performance trends and areas for improvement.

Competitor Research

- Analyze competitor websites and search results.
- Identify competitor keyword and content opportunities.
- Research backlink profiles and SEO strategies.
- Help identify gaps that can be targeted through SEO.

Requirements We are searching for candidates who have:

- Strong interest in SEO and digital marketing.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
