Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Senior Tekla Modeller based in Hubli-Dharwad.

The Senior Tekla

Modeller will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models of structural steel, PEMB, and miscellaneous steel components using Tekla Structures. Day-to-day tasks include preparing shop and erection drawings, performing clash detection, coordinating with design engineers, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and project specifications. The role involves reviewing inputs, resolving modelling and detailing issues, guiding junior modellers,



and maintaining quality and consistency across deliverables.

The Senior Tekla

Modeller will also collaborate closely with project managers and clients to meet schedules and support smooth execution of projects.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures for 3D modelling and detailing of structural and miscellaneous steel.
- Experience in design and detailing for Structural Steel, PEMB, bridges, stairs, railings, and related steel works.
- Solid understanding of relevant steel design codes, standards, connection detailing, and fabrication practices.
- Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, BIM models, and project specifications accurately.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior modellers and coordinating with multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with a focus on quality and deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field; prior experience in a steel detailing firm is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in Hubli-Dharwad and collaborating closely with local and remote stakeholders.
