Role Description The Senior System Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex system architectures that support Beta’s software products and business operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing system performance, ensuring high availability, performing system administration, and proactively monitoring infrastructure to prevent issues.

Engineer will diagnose and resolve technical incidents, provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system reliability and security.



The role also involves documenting system configurations, contributing to infrastructure improvement projects, and mentoring team members on best practices in systems engineering.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills, with experience in architecting scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructures.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in System Administration, including configuration, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of servers and related services.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills, with the ability to quickly identify root causes and implement effective resolutions.
- Candidates should possess experience with operating systems (such as Linux and Windows Server), networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
- Candidates should possess solid documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with engineering, product, and operations teams.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in a senior or lead systems role, handling complex environments and mission-critical systems, is highly beneficial.
- Industry certifications (such as Linux, Windows, networking, or cloud certifications) are considered an advantage.
