Role Overview: We are looking for a domain expert with 8+ years of experience to lead our RF and Antenna Engineering unit. In this role, you will own the RF technology roadmap, guide end-to-end architecture, oversee complex board-level integration, and mentor a high-performing engineering team to deliver cutting-edge, flight-ready/production-grade RF front-ends and custom antenna systems.

Strategic Responsibilities & Business Ownership

- Technical Governance & System Architecture: Architect and approve full-lifecycle designs for complex RF front-ends, transceiver chains, and custom antenna arrays. Establish design standards and review processes across the RF unit.
- Architecture Trade-Offs & Component Strategy: Direct component selection strategies (LNAs, PAs, Mixers, Filters) balancing conflicting constraintssuch as ultra-low power consumption, weight optimization, and tight form-factor boundaries.
- Root-Cause Analysis & Escalations: Act as the ultimate technical authority for resolving critical board-level RF issues, signal integrity anomalies, parasitic coupling, and complex impedance matching challenges.
- Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Synergy: Lead, mentor, and build the capabilities of junior and mid-level RF engineers.



Serve as the primary RF subject matter expert interfacing with Hardware, Systems, Firmware, and Product Leadership.

Core Domain Expertise & Technical Masteries

- Advanced CAD/EM Simulation: Expert mastery of Ansys HFSS and Keysight ADS for full-wave electromagnetic modeling, co-simulation, and high-frequency circuit synthesis.
- High-Precision Bench Validation: Deep expertise in RF laboratory setups, de-embedding techniques, and full-spectrum characterization using VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
- Advanced RF PCB & Layout Engineering: Subject matter expertise in multi-layer RF PCB stack-up design, controlled-impedance routing, EMI/EMC suppression techniques, and manufacturing yield optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

- 10+ years of direct experience in core RF & Antenna design, with a demonstrated track record of leading complex projects or engineering teams.

- Education:
- Ph.D. with a doctoral focus in Antenna/RF Design (preferred), OR
- M.Tech in RF / Microwave / Electronics Engineering with solid domain tenure, OR
- B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Electrical Engineering with extensive industry tenure.
