About the Role

Foodsure is looking for an experienced and technically strong Sr. R&D; Executive to join our Research & Development team. The candidate will be responsible for new product development, formulation, product trials, optimization, and supporting the commercialization of food and beverage products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead new product development (NPD) from concept to final product.
- Develop and optimize formulations for food and beverage products.
- Conduct laboratory trials, pilot trials, and product testing.
- Select and evaluate ingredients, raw materials, and functional ingredients.
- Perform sensory evaluation and make formulation improvements based on results.
- Conduct benchmarking and competitor product analysis.
- Prepare and maintain R&D; documentation, formulation sheets, trial reports, and specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and other teams for product development and scale-up.
- Support product commercialization and manufacturing scale-up .
- Identify and troubleshoot formulation, quality, stability, and processing issues.
- Conduct shelf-life and stability studies as required.
- Ensure products are developed in accordance with applicable food safety and regulatory requirements .




- Manage multiple R&D; projects and ensure timely completion of development activities.
- Stay updated on new ingredients, technologies, market trends, and innovations in the food and beverage industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field .
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Food/F&B; R&D.;
- Strong knowledge of food formulation and product development .
- Hands-on experience with R&D; trials and product optimization.
- Good understanding of ingredients, processing techniques, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life testing.
- Experience in handling product development projects from lab trials to commercialization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following categories will be an advantage:
