Purchase Engineer / Sr. Engineer Electrical & Electronics

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer / Senior Purchase Engineer with 45 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Electronic Components Procurement / Purchase.

The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, procurement planning, supplier coordination, import coordination, inventory monitoring, and ensuring timely availability of electrical and electronic components.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Purchase & Procurement of Electrical and Electronic Components.
- Source components from existing and current suppliers/vendors.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material availability.
- Check and monitor availability of components as per production and business requirements.
- Analyze component consumption trends and prepare procurement plans accordingly.
- Optimize procurement planning based on consumption, stock levels, lead time, and requirements.




- Coordinate with Import Logistics for imported electrical/electronic components.
- Follow up with suppliers for pending orders, dispatches, and timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory and stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Logistics teams.
- Maintain purchase-related documentation, records, MIS, and reports.
- Work on ERP for purchase transactions, inventory-related data, and procurement records.
- Support cost optimization and efficient procurement processes.

Working knowledge of ERP systems.

- Good communication, coordination, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Industry Candidates from Electrical & Electronics, Electrical Components, Electronic Components, Engineering, or Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
