- Responsible for Managing and supervising in Microbiology, Serology and Molecular testing lab. Documentation of all relevant department documents, perform testing as per the laboratory guidelines

- Perform Culture and sensitivity, ELISA, CLIA and Molecular testing

- Ensure stock of sufficient quantity of the reagents are maintained

- Analyze the performance of IQC,EQAS, ILC and Split sample testing

- Ensure all equipment’s are working condition. If any problem coordinate with biomedical

- All critical values concerned staff / clinician and record the critical values.

- To cross verify all patients report with validation

- Responsibility to coordinate NABL Accreditation process
- The effective implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System.  Participate in Management review meetings and communicate with all concerned.

- The safety of operations and personnel in the Laboratory.

- Identify, organize and ensure training to all personnel in the laboratory regarding quality management system.

- Ensure timely completion of all lab investigation and furnish authentic reports to the patients.

- Maintain strict control on waste disposal in the laboratory.

- Approve Quality Control results

- Authorize Corrective action proposals for audit findings.

- Renew old contracts and revive expired contracts.





- Liaise with external bodies on matters related to Quality Systems.

- Planning, staffing, monitoring and managing the day to day activities of laboratory services.

- Supervise and control the staff activities such as assignment of working area, weekly rotation, duty distribution day and night shift, staff leave, or offs, emergency leave, duty timing of staff for smooth run etc.

- Supervise the blood collection area and lab report dispatch area regularly.  Supervise all sections of lab, microbiology, histopathology and blood bank.

- Conduct classes for laboratory staffs.

- Coordinate with other departments in regards to the complaints received.  Conduct Interview for potential current lab technicians

- Train the lab technicians to upgrade their skills and performance

- Ensure that the lab staff uses the protective gear while handling the specimens

- Evaluate for Annual Appraisal Performance of staff

- Conduct exam for job knowledge and technical knowledge for technical staff periodically

- Monitor vendor evaluation and outsourced laboratory performance annually

- Coordinate with Director Laboratory Services and Chief of clinical support services for department improvement activities

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
