About the role

We are looking for an experienced Franchise Development & Retail Expansion qualified with 5+ years of experience to drive franchise expansion, identify and onboard potential franchise partners, build a strong investor pipeline, and manage the process from lead generation to franchise closure.

Location: Kolkata H.O.(Camac Street)

Experience Required: 5-6+ years

Key Responsibilities

- Drive franchise partner acquisition from lead generation through commercial discussion, negotiation, closure, and onboarding.
- Develop and manage a structured franchise sales pipeline , including qualified leads, meetings, proposals, negotiations, and closures.
- Identify potential investors, entrepreneurs, business owners, and strategic partners across target cities.
- Represent the brand at franchise exhibitions, investor meets, industry events, and networking forums to generate franchise opportunities.
- Present the franchise business model, investment requirements, expected economics, store format, and brand proposition to prospective partners.
- Evaluate prospective franchisees based on financial capability, business background, market understanding, location access, and long-term alignment .
- Work closely with prospective franchisees to identify and finalize commercially viable locations.
- Coordinate franchise documentation, commercial agreements, store setup, and handover with Legal, Finance, Projects,



Operations, Marketing, and other internal teams.
- Establish city-wise and region-wise franchise expansion targets and track performance against the expansion plan.
- The role requires frequent travel across cities and regions for franchise partner meetings, market visits, location assessments, franchise events, and business development activities.
- Maintain relationships with existing franchise partners and identify opportunities for multi-unit expansion .

Candidature Profile

- 5–6 years of experience in Franchise Development, Business Development, or Retail Expansion.
- Proven experience in franchise partner acquisition, lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure .
- Strong network of potential investors, franchise partners, and business associates .
- Good understanding of franchise business models, commercial negotiations, and retail expansion .
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Candidates from retail, jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, QSR, or consumer brands will be preferred.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
