Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Finance (Accounts & Finance) to own the company's finance and accounting function while working closely with the Founders and Co-Founders on financial planning, business decisions, profitability, and finance policies .

This is a senior, high-ownership role requiring a combination of accounting expertise, FP&A;, business analysis, and commercial understanding .

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, AR, AP, billing, and collections .
- Prepare and present monthly MIS, P&L;, cash-flow reports, budget vs. actuals, and variance analysis .
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash-flow management .
- Conduct project-wise and business-segment profitability analysis .
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to Founders and Co-Founders for business decision-making .
- Support leadership in pricing, cost control, investments, resource planning, and commercial decisions .
- Develop and implement financial policies, controls, approval processes, and SOPs .
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and revenue leakages .
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, statutory compliance, audits,



and tax reconciliations .
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and other teams to improve financial processes and controls.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax consultants, vendors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Build a scalable and process-driven finance function as the business grows.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance / FP&A; / Business Finance.
- Mandatory: Prior experience working in a Digital Advertising / Digital Marketing Agency.
- Strong understanding of agency/project-based business models, project profitability, billing, revenue recognition, and margins .
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting, GST and TDS .
- Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Tally / Zoho Books preferred.
- B.Com / Finance degree; CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred .
- Experience working directly with Founders / CXOs in a fast-paced start-up or agency environment.
