SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with a strong design sensibility, technical expertise and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for client acquisition, design development, team leadership, technical coordination and project deliveryfrom the first meeting to final execution.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Client & Business Development

- Meet clients, understand requirements and build robust relationships.
- Develop and present concepts, proposals and design presentations.
- Prepare scope of work, tentative quotations and design proposals.
- Follow up on leads and contribute towards successful project closures.

Design & Team Leadership

- Lead interior projects from concept to execution.
- Develop innovative, functional and market-relevant design solutions.
- Lead, mentor and coordinate the design team.
- Review drawings, presentations and 3D visualisations for quality.
- Keep the team updated with latest design trends, materials and technologies.
- Organise design workshops and encourage participation in exhibitions and industry events.

Technical & Project Delivery

- Develop and review detailed working and execution drawings.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and consultants.
- Prepare project timelines, deliverables and coordination schedules.
- Support material selection, detailing and site execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, with quality and design intent maintained.




- Manage multiple projects and take ownership of project outcomes.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

- 610 years of relevant experience in Interior Design / Architecture.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept, detailing and completed projects.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of Lumion / Enscape / D5 / V-Ray / Corona.
- Revit / BIM knowledge will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of materials, furniture, lighting and construction detailing.
- Good site execution and vendor coordination experience.
- Strong client communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prepare quotations, scope of work and project timelines.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects independently.
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented and willing to explore recent ideas.
