Role: Senior Documentum D2 Developer – ECM

Contract duration: 6 – 12 Months contract to hire

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Documentum D2 Developer – Enterprise Content Management (ECM) with strong expertise in OpenText Documentum D2 development and cloud modernization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Documentum development, upgrade projects, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Agile delivery. This role requires technical leadership, mentoring capabilities, and the ability to design scalable, cloud-native enterprise solutions.

Experience

- 7+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
- Strong hands-on experience in Documentum D2 Development .
- Experience leading or contributing to enterprise Documentum upgrade and modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities

Documentum Development

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Documentum D2 applications.
- Implement and support Documentum Core functionalities.
- Participate in Documentum upgrade and migration initiatives, particularly cloud-based implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex ECM-related issues.

Cloud & DevOps

- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Build and deploy applications using containerized environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment automation and platform reliability.

Technical Leadership

- Mentor and guide junior developers.
- Drive technical design discussions and architectural decisions.




- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, coding best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Evaluate recent technologies and recommend optimal technical solutions.

Business Collaboration

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support Concurrent Engineering and Management of Change processes.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
