About Smriti Gram - The Dementia Care Village:

Smriti Gram is a groundbreaking initiative of Nightingales Medical Trust (NMT), envisioned as a benchmark model for dementia care in India. It builds upon over two decades of NMT’s pioneering experience in dementia care and caregiver support. Located in a 5 acre serene green campus near Doddaballapura, Bengaluru, Smriti Gram is designed to provide a safe, enabling, dignified, person-centred, comprehensive care ecosystem for elders living with dementia, in a 5 acre serene campus near Doddaballapura, Bengaluru.

Once fully operational, this 300-bed dementia village will be among the largest of its kind globally, offering a comprehensive and compassionate ecosystem for persons living with dementia. In the first phase, a 100 bed facility fully dedicated for the care of elderly with dementia from the marginalized families is being set-up,



expected to be operational by Sept 2026. A training and research academy is also established at Smriti Gram, integrating care, training and research in Dementia.

· Security checking of visitors and maintaining of visitor books at the Main Gate & Sub Gate.

· Responsibility of all assets at site of the Project.

· Assisting maintenance team for any assistance required.

· Maintenance of Electric & Solar lights.

· Switching on/ Switching off the Generator whenever powers goes and comes back.

· Fill the Water tank according to the need.

· Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirement and expectations.

· Perform basic maintenance such as watering and feeding plants, cutting the grass, trimming the trees and shrubs, fertilizing and mowing lawns, weeding garden and keeping the walk ways clear of debris and litter.

· Plant and nurture old & new trees, and plants.

· Service all garden equipment and machinery.

· Ensure safe environment for staff and residents by adhering to safety and health regulations.

Any other responsibility assigned by Trust as and when required.
