Role Overview

We are looking for a Creative Writer – Reality Sports Format who understands how to build engaging reality-show narratives around cricket, contestants, Gurus, Houses and competition.

This is not a conventional writing role. The candidate must be able to understand footage, identify strong reality moments, build story arcs, create drama and emotion, and shape an engaging episode from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop episode-wise show flows, narratives and story arcs.
- Structure tasks, challenges, eliminations, twists and key moments.
- Build and maintain contestant, Guru, Grand Master and House storylines.
- Create and shape drama, conflict, nok-jhok, emotions and relationship dynamics.
- Write Guru, Grand Master and Host links/dialogues.
- Watch and analyse footage to identify and develop strong reality moments.
- Maintain character, narrative and story continuity across episodes.
- Create episode hooks, cliffhangers, promo moments and anticipation points.
- Understand the combination of cricket + reality entertainment storytelling.
- Work closely with the Director, Showrunner and Edit Team to shape the final episode narrative.
- Contribute creatively to the overall format, tone, flow and entertainment value of the show.





Mandatory Understanding & Skills The candidate must be able to:
- Think beyond conventional content writing and understand reality-show storytelling.
- Build narratives from raw footage, interactions and unscripted moments.
- Understand how to create tension, emotion, conflict, humour and anticipation.
- Understand reality formats, competition structures and sports entertainment.
- Translate cricket-related situations into engaging television/reality narratives.
- Collaborate with production, direction and editing teams to create a cohesive episode.

Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in reality shows, sports content, television, OTT or entertainment formats will be preferred.
- Experience working with Showrunners, Directors or Edit Teams is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of cricket and reality entertainment will be highly valued.

Key Note This role requires a Reality Sports Format storyteller, not just a conventional writer. Candidates should be able to understand the complete storytelling process—from footage and contestant dynamics to episode flow, drama, emotions, twists, hooks and final edit.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
