Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students safely between their homes and school, while maintaining high standards of discipline, punctuality, and vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely transport students to and from school according to the assigned route and schedule.
- Follow all traffic rules and school transportation policies.
- Conduct basic checks of the bus before and after each trip, including brakes, tyres, lights, mirrors, and emergency equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the school bus.
- Ensure students board and leave the bus safely.
- Drive carefully and maintain appropriate speed, particularly in school zones and residential areas.
- Maintain discipline and a safe environment inside the bus.
- Report accidents, vehicle defects, breakdowns, or other incidents immediately to the Transport Manager.
- Follow the designated route and inform the school of any delays or route-related issues.
- Assist in emergencies and follow the school's emergency procedures.
- Maintain required vehicle documents, licenses, and inspection records.
- Treat students, parents, teachers, and colleagues respectfully and professionally.
- Perform other transport-related duties assigned by the school administration.

Eligibility & Requirements




- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / appropriate driving licence as required by applicable regulations.
- Previous experience driving school buses, staff buses, or other passenger vehicles preferred.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of handling the responsibilities of student transportation.
- Responsible, punctual, patient, and courteous.
- Ability to communicate effectively with school staff and parents.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and emergency procedures.

Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant driving experience.
- Experience in school transportation or passenger transport will be an advantage.

Salary: ₹25,000(per month), depending on experience and qualifications. Joining: [Immediate / Notice Period]
