JD-SAP SD Consultant

The SAP SD consultant is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of SAP Sales & Distribution processes. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring stable operations, continuous improvement, and successful project delivery across order-to-cash processes.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership:Lead end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes including: Order Management

Pricing & Condition Techniques

Delivery & Shipping

Billing & Invoicing

Credit Management

Returns & Complaints

Own SD solution design aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.

Review and approve functional specifications and solution designs.

Project & Delivery Lead SAP SD activities during implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM, FI, TM, EWM, GTS).

Manage offshore/onshore teams, task allocation, and delivery tracking.

Support UAT, cutover, and go-live activities.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary SD contact for business users and key stakeholders.

Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution walkthroughs. Provide regular status updates, risk identification, and mitigation plans.

Support & Operations Lead L2/L3 production support for SD-related issues.

Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes.





Ensure SLA adherence and continuous service improvement.

Integration & Compliance Manage integrations with: FI (Billing, Revenue, Accounting) TM/EWM (Logistics & Shipment) EDI/IDocs & external applications

Ensure compliance with local legal requirements (e.g., e-Invoicing, tax, country-specific SD processes).

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Prepare and maintain: Functional design documents Process flows Configuration documentation

Lead knowledge transfer (KT) sessions and mentor junior consultants.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical / Functional 6+ years of SAP SD experience.

Strong knowledge of: Pricing procedures, condition records

Copy controls, incompletion logs Output determination Credit management (Classic / FSCM – preferred)

Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.

Hands-on configuration experience is mandatory.

Soft Skills Solid leadership and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in S/4HANA migration or rollout projects.

Exposure to global template implementations.

Knowledge of EDI, IDocs, and third-party integrations.

Prior experience as SD Lead / Module Lead / Track Lead.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
