Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance consultant to support global finance transformation, solution design, deployment and support activities.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design SAP solutions.

Support implementation, testing, cutover and hypercare activities.

Perform configuration, process optimization and defect resolution.

Coordinate with technical, integration and reporting teams.

Prepare functional specifications and user documentation.

Configure and support customer payment processing through electronic bank statements, lockbox, payment advices, manual clearing, automatic clearing, and approved bank interfaces.

Implement SAP Cash Application scenarios for receivables line item matching, lockbox matching, payer identification, matching recommendations, configured auto-clearing, and payment advice extraction.

Configure Fiori based processing rules for bank statements and lockbox items, including rule conditions, posting actions, background automation, templates, and controlled rule transport.

Support exception handling designs that identify discrepancies, route unmatched items, preserve auditability,



and enable effective reprocessing.

Assist with payment advice and remittance ingestion, including structured and unstructured inputs, OCR related integration, high volume remittances, parent and subsidiary payment scenarios, and customer specific matching requirements.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of SAP FICO experience with at least 2 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations.

Strong expertise in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Lockbox, EBS and Collection processes.

Experience with SAP FSCM, dispute management and credit management is preferred.

Knowledge of bank statement processing, payment advice automation and cash reconciliation.

Ability to analyze integration with SD, Treasury and Banking interfaces.

Hands on experience in support, enhancements, testing and month-end close activities.

Strong stakeholder communication and requirement gathering skills.

Experience with SAP Cash Application machine learning capabilities and standard lockbox, electronic bank statement, and manual clearing processes.

Project-Specific Requirements The consultant will drive cash application optimization, automate receivables processing, improve reconciliation efficiency and support global rollouts.
