Job Descritpion of SAP BASIS - HANA Consultant

6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator with strong expertise in managing SAP landscapes running under RISE with SAP. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP BTP, cloud infrastructure, and BASIS administration tasks, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing SAP environments.

Roles & Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities

- Support and administer SAP systems under RISE with SAP (Business Transformation as a Service).
- Collaborate with SAP and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) for environment provisioning, scaling, and issue resolution.
- Perform system refreshes, backups, monitoring, and performance tuning for SAP systems.
- Configure and monitor SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Router, Web Dispatcher, and Fiori Launchpad.
- Support SAP upgrades, patching, and kernel maintenance in RISE environments.
- Implement and maintain transport routes and troubleshoot transport-related issues.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and audit readiness.




- Work with functional and technical teams to resolve BASIS-related issues.
- Coordinate with SAP OSS support for incident and issue resolution.

Required Experience & Skills

- 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with RISE with SAP.
- 2+ years of experience with SAP BTP.
- Robust experience with HANA Database, SAP S/4HANA, and NetWeaver technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SAP-hosted environments.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, and cloud integration tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Desirable Skills

- SAP Certifications (Basis, HANA, or Cloud).
- Experience with automation tools for system monitoring and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices in SAP environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
